Engaging fired up leaders who know who they are in Christ and are ready for the challenges of leading with integrity in society today and in the future. This is done by understanding and discussing Biblical Insight into Leadership principles and practices. There has only been one perfect role model for leadership. That only role model has been Jesus Christ.

I enjoy incorporating worship music into my blog posts. Some people enjoy listening while they read and others listen at the end.

Focus on the Way

Focus on the Way

A better life will come your way the second you get up and start walking towards it.  Jesus is telling us to walk toward Him.  Jesus is the Way to life and life everlasting.  In what area do I need an increase in my faith in Jesus?

We get more of what we focus on.  Your focus should be more on what you are becoming rather than on what you are doing.  No one can ignore Jesus forever.  Unbelief leaves when we pray and fast.  So I need to turn my attention to Christ and ask Him for strength and determination to do what He has set before me.

The name of the Lord is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe. (Proverbs 18:10 (NIV)).

We cannot have a “passing through faith.”  Jesus wants to move in with you.  People reject Jesus at the door because they say that living with Jesus in our lives interferes with the way they want to live their lives.  People choose to turn away because they believe that they have a better way or a belief and faith in Jesus Christ is a blow to their ego.  It has to be the other way around.

Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord. (Acts 3:19 (NIV)).

Refreshing, renewal, revival, recreation, and victory for tomorrow begin by trusting Him today and having faith in Him.  Jesus has said that we can do it; we can keep going, we can live in victory because He has already overcome the world!  “Regardless of how far you may have fallen, God wants to raise you up and restore you to His perfect plan for your life” (Joyce Meyer).

It is time to be confident in our beliefs, courageous in Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit.  He has blessed us with life, intelligence, compassion, and knowledge of the Truth.

Lord in your mercy, hear my prayer…
Father God, please help me to walk in your presence; please help me to invite You into my heart; please keep me from compartmentalizing my life and my faith by limiting Your presence; please help me to filter my prayer concerns and issues through You. Please keep me in your life giving light and send your Spirit upon me. I pray this through Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, who lives, and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God now and forever. – Amen.
